Mary Joe
I have been in gymnastics since the age of 5 years old and been involved in competitive gymnastics since I was 8, continuing on to coach & judge. My experience and interest in the sport provides the flair and understanding successful maintenance of programs and the implications of new programs for all levels. I currently sit in an elected position on the Illinois USAG State Committee. I hope to continue to serve the professionals of Illinois.

Boys Team Director and Head Coach Boys & Girls Recreational Coach Matt started gymnastics at age seven and has been coaching for the last eight years. As a coach at Spring Hill, Matt began coaching the Boys Team Level 4 during their first competitive season in 2004-2005. It was exciting to see the team achieve some area success and finish the season by winning the 4th place trophy at the Illinois~USAG State Championships. He looks forward to developing the Boys Team and continuing coaching a variety of recreational classes.

Girls Recreational Coach GIJO Head Coach
Started gymnastics at age 5 and completed levels 4-7. Upon starting high school; Maribeth decided join her high school team. She spent her 4 years of high school with them. She graduated at the age of 18 and decided to retired from the sport. Now, Maribeth has been coaching at various gyms for 8 years and has been with us for about 2 years now and loves it!

Coach Rachel
Rachel started with Springhill Gymnastics in August of 2006. She began gymnastics when she was five years old and continued with the sport until through school where she competed at the high school/ level 9 Level.
Bachelor of Science Degree in Early Childhood Development ; Northern Illinois University Master’s Degree in Early Childhood Administration; National-Louis University.
After 8 years in the field of early childhood as a teacher and then a director, she decided to get back into the gym and began coaching full time. She has over 20 years of gymnastics experience with more than 10 years being coaching experience and is excited to be a part of the Spring Hill Gymnastics Coaching Team.

Kathy became interested in gymnastics when she watched the 1976 Olympics and was on the gymnastics team in high school. She has been teaching gymnastics while in high school and has been a coach for over 30 years. She teaches Tuesdays & Saturdays and works full time at a daycare where she is the assistant director.

Recreational Coach Jr. Team Coach
Starting gymnastics at a very young age, she completed levels 4-10. Where she stayed on level 10 for 4 years. In 2005 & 2006 she was a level 9 Eastern Qualifier. From 2007-2009 Level 10 National qualifier. Kaitlyn was 10th in AA Nationals in 2008. In 2009, made Region 5 All-star Team; went to Cayman Islands. In 2010, she received a score of 9.95 on vault. Was offered Full Scholarship to U of I. .

Coach J.R.
Recreational Coach J.R. has been apart of the Spring Hill Gymnastics staff for 5 years! J.R. is one of our Recreational Coaches, with a passion for the sport of gymnastics, and tumbling. With three of his siblings being competitive gymnasts it was natural that he would learn to love the sport as much as they do! Since Coach J.R. attends College in Wisconsin his time at the gym is limited but he is with us in the Winter and Summer each year. J.R. is also a Certified Student Athletic Trainer.

Started gymnastics in 2003 at Spring Hill gymnastics! She competed with our team in 2009 on level 9. Alexa was a 2x Regional's Qualifier for Level 8. Receiving 4th in vault. In all her years at Spring Hill Gymnastics, she was a State Qualifier every year. In 2009, she received a 9.75 in vault.

Started gymnastics at age 5 at Dundee Park District. Decided to take a little time off until she was 8 and joined us here at Spring Hill Gymnastics. Mandy completed levels 5-7. In 2004, she was the Level 7 beam Champion.
